Verdiana Bove

She lives and works in Rome. She graduated from RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts in 2018, completing her education with a two-year specialization in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in 2021. Her canvases are based on photographs of her family or from personal collections, which on the painted surface appear as vivid memories, distinct in memory yet blurred and undefined by the passage of time.

She recently presented his/her work in the solo exhibition Nuove vedute di Roma at Laboratorio KH, Rome (2022). She has participated in several group exhibitions, including Figure Out, 1/9unosunove arte contemporanea, Rome; Materia Nova. Roma nuove generazioni a confronto, curated by Massimo Mininni, Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Rome (2021). He/She is also a co-founder of the Rome-based artist-run space CONDOTTO48.
