Andrea Polichetti

Lives and works in Rome. Her research draws from both archaeological and natural imagery through experimentation with contemporary materials and the use of various media, including drawing, printmaking, cyanotype, and sculpture. Investigating the aesthetic potential of ruin, her work reflects on the implications of impermanence and the transience of time, engaging in a dialogue with natural elements. She has actively worked on independent exhibitions, such as 89/2012, managed the temporary space Da Franco (inside a barbershop in central Rome), and contributed to a fanzine editorial project. In 2020, Polichetti founded SPAZIOMENSA, continuing her work as a promoter and art organizer.
