Emanuele Moretti

Lives and works between Rome and Milan. Painter and performer, he studied at the European University of Design in Pescara and later at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, graduating with a thesis focused on the relationship between art and science, visible and invisible. Since then, his work has explored the mysterious parts that the human eye cannot perceive, where real images can no longer assist the observer, and this connection with physics allows imagining the invisible. The artist’s works take shape in the conscious zone of the microcosm, representing that gateway that leads to a broader area, the macrocosm, an unknown and revealing zone to be discovered.

Moretti has exhibited in several galleries and institutions, including: Contemporanea 2022, Camere d’Artista, curated by Arianna Sera, Palazzo Ducale Osini-Colonna, Tagliacozzo; BAG, arte giovane, curated by Hong Lingyl and Livia Giuliani, National Museum of China, Beijing (China), 2021; Arte e scienza, curated by ARTEiX, MUSE (Science Museum), Trento, 2021; European project Art & Science, Across Italy, conceived and curated by CERN in Geneva and INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics, Italy) as part of the exhibition I colori della scienza, nell’arte della ricerca, Ex Mattatoio di Roma, 2020; Il mio colore preferito non è il rosso, curated by Generazione H and Cecilia Casorati, Aula Colleoni, Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, 2017; Chi dice donna, curated by ARTEiX, Mu.Mi. (Museo Michetti), Francavilla al Mare, 2017 and 2018; Exchange exhibition of culture & arts, Hachioji City Culture Museum, Tokyo. He is also the founder of Contemporanea, now in its ninth edition, held at Palazzo Ducale Orsini-Colonna in Tagliacozzo.
