Federica Zianni

Federica Zianni graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Sculpture. She returned in 2022 as a lecturer in Foundry Techniques. She is currently a recipient of a scholarship for the Doctorate in Artistic Research in Cultural Heritage and Creativity – Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce.

Since 2018, she has participated in nationally recognized awards such as the Premio Combat, Premio Vittorio Viviani, Premio Comel, Premio di Scultura Gabbioneta, Premio di Scultura Fregellae, and took part in GIFA (International Foundry Fair) in Düsseldorf.

In 2021, she won the exhibition award at We Art Open 2021 and was among the finalists of the Premio Cramum and Exibart Prize. She was also a finalist at the Mediterranean Contemporary Art Prize, Premio Fregellae, and Premio Artkeys. She is among the artists in residence at VIR Viafarini-in-residence and participated in the artistic residency In-Edita 2, coordinated by Galerie Alberta Pane, Ikona Venezia, and Marina Bastianello Gallery.

In 2022, she exhibited her works in a solo show at the Manuel Zoia Gallery in Milan. She was a finalist at the Premio Arte curated by Cairo Editore, whose exhibition took place at Palazzo Reale in Milan. In the same year, she began work on her first monograph, published by Vanillaedizioni. She won the Arte Laguna Prize 16 in the Special Awards section, for which she participated in an artistic residency at the Fonderia Artistica Versiliese. Finally, she exhibited her artistic research for the first time at the 17th edition of ArtVerona and the 2nd edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola.
