Born in Terni in 1981, he currently lives and works in Rome. His research spans painting, sculpture, and installation, always grounded in the analysis of the centrality of symbols in social dynamics. The archetypal power that certain symbols hold within communities drives Carotti’s work, often applied to topics of immediate relevance. The duality of Homo, both Naturalis and Mechanicus, and the conflict this dualism generates are at the core of the latest phase of Carotti’s research.
